Uniform Policy
We have made some changes to our uniform policy. Please let us know if you have any questions.
- What is acceptable:
- Designated School colors = Red, White, Navy & Gray
- T-shirts, long sleeve shirts, polos, hoodies, jackets
- MUST have “Keaau High” or “Keaau Cougars” or “Keaau (team, club name)” printed in the designated school colors on the front of the clothing item across the chest
- School Name and/or School logo must be clearly visible and identifiable on FRONT of clothing
- School Name/Logo must be the dominant graphic on the clothing
- Plain zip-up jackets
- What is NOT acceptable:
- Plain colored clothing in the school colors
- Cut shirts, tank tops, tube tops, spaghetti straps, low cut shirts, no visible midrifs, etc
- Any colored shirt outside of the four designated colors
- Clothing with the School logo and/or name that is not of the four designated colors
- Using an ink pen to label shirts
- Club shirts, etc that are not in school colors will have to receive prior approval for use on special occasions.

No Tolerance to Violence Policy
Kea’au High School has adopted a Zero Tolerance to Physical Harassment. If any student is involved in a Physical altercation on the campus they will be suspended for a 5 day period and then put on a Principal Directed Distance Learning Program for 9 weeks. Along with this the students will be required to complete an Alternative to Violence Program Packet and meet with their counselor upon return to school. There will also be a mandatory mediation with signed contracts completed upon return with the assistance of our counselors unless the Physical incident was an assault.
