Vaccination information
Kea'au High School is committed to providing a safe and welcoming environment for all students, staff, faculty, parents, and our community. We recognize the challenging times we have been facing and currently face as the world works to get the upper hand on the world wide spread of COVID-19.
As an educational institution it is our kuleana (responsibility) to provide education and support for our haumana (students). To this end we are only providing general and public information regarding vaccination efforts by the Department of Health and HMC.

At this time Hilo Medical Center is taking appointments for vaccinations of all residents who are 16 and older. There will be a mass vaccination pod in Hilo on Saturday, April 24 and a final one on Saturday, May 15. Both of these events will be held at the Edith Kanakaole Tennis Stadium. If you or anyone in your family would like to sign up to be vaccinated please use the link provided below for more information on how to do that.

WASC ACCREDITATION REPORT FINDINGS
In 2016, Kea'au High School underwent an accreditation process with Western Association of Schools and Colleges, WASC. Following the completion of the accreditation process Kea'au High School received a 6-year accreditation status with a Mid-cycle One-day review. This is one of the highest awards given by WASC. Congratulations goes out to the entire Kea'au community for their assistance and belief in the school to be on the forefront of providing quality education to the students.
