What's New with PTSA

We are currently looking for new members and those interested in running for office and have an interested in providing for a better future for our keiki. If you are interested in either running for a position or helping to create fundraiser opportunities for the Kea'au HS PTSA please contact Christopher Ho @ christopher.ho@k12.hi.us or via phone at 313-3470.

Kea'au High School PTSA

 The purpose of the PTSA is:
  1. To promote the welfare of children and youth in home, school, community, and place of worship,
  2. To raise the standards of home life,
  3. To secure adequate laws for the care and protection of children and youth,
  4. To bring in closer relation the home and the school, that parents and teachers may cooperate intelligently in the education of children and youth, and
  5. To develop between educators and the general public such united efforts as will secure for all children and youth the highest advantages in physical, mental, social, and spiritual education.

What is the cost involved with this organization?

The cost of joining this organization is $10 for Parents, Teachers, and Students.

The breakdown of that $10 per person is:

$7.50 - State PTSA
$1.75 - National PTSA
​$.75 - Kea'au HS PTSA

What does PTSA do at Kea'au High School?

Some of the events sponsored by Kea'au HS PTSA are:
  • Monthly Teacher Grants
  • Open House Chili Dinner
  • Student Incentives
  • Support to Kea'au High School and Kea'au Complex Events
  • Sponsor Kea'au HS as a Food Basket Distribution Center

Does the Kea'au PTSA do any fundraising?

If you have any other fundraisers that should be considered by PTSA please contact the President.

I'm an Educator and would like to apply for a grant

Grant applications are due by the 2nd Monday of every month. Grant amounts shall not exceed $100 and are award to one educator each month. Educator's may not receive more then one grant in a given school year. Only PTSA member Educators are eligible to apply for the Grant.
