Meal process
school year 2024 - 2025

This school year all enrolled students of Kea'au High School will receive free meals; however, any student who chooses to eat more than one meal (breakfast and/or lunch) will be be charged full price for the second or any subsequent meal eaten.

Any student who collects additional meals and are charged to their account will be required to pay for those meals that exceed the amount of money in their meal account.  Any additional monetary amounts that exceed the amount in the students account will be considered an obligation or delinquent.

All outstanding obligations must be cleared from the students account upon the creation of the deficit. Any student's account that stays in deficit for an extended amount of time will be considered an obligation and will effect the student's ability to participate in Commencement and/or receive high school transcripts.

Should you have any further questions regarding the Meal Process please contact the Main Office.

What's to eat?

Our school launched a new interactive digital dining software for our school menus. The app, called Nutrislice, provides users with virtual menu browsing, menu nutritional information, access to a nutritional calculator, menu translations and more. If you are interested in trying out this new platform on your mobile device, please download the free Nutrislice app from the App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android) and search for our school's menu. If you have questions about the software, please contact the HIDOE School Food Services Branch at [email protected].

Here is the link for the menu.
